For server environments targeting overseas, it is usually necessary to use the official English installation entry point of aaPanel, rather than mixing domestic and international versions of scripts. The aaPanel official download page will display the current stable script, supported systems, and installation recommendations. Deployment should be based directly on the real-time information on that page.

First, choose a system with a clear support cycle.

Before installing the panel, first confirm the distribution version, architecture, disk partitioning, and component requirements such as Python, PHP, and Nginx. The official page currently has clear recommendations for system selection. CentOS 7 has reached the end of its life cycle and should not be used as the default base for new deployments. If there are existing old servers, a migration plan should be formulated before proceeding with the panel installation.

Immediately after installation, collapse the panel entrance.

Panel ports should not be open to the entire network. It is recommended to restrict access through cloud security groups, firewalls, VPNs, or fixed office egress points, enable strong password and multi-factor authentication capabilities, and check system accounts, scheduled tasks, and extended permissions created by the panel. Treat the dashboard as a high-privilege operations and maintenance system

Site files, databases, certificates, and scheduled tasks can all be managed by the Dashboard. Back up the Dashboard configuration and business data before upgrading, and after upgrading, check web services, certificate renewals, backups, logs, and security groups. Do not execute third-party one-click scripts from unknown sources directly on production servers, nor disable system security mechanisms to save effort.
